My nutshell of a life...

I grew up as the youngest son of a US Air Force veteran in Marshalltown, IA. I spent my formative years attending a good - though not perfect - independent Baptist church and attending a good - though not perfect - Christian school (for which I am extremely thankful)!

I got out of Iowa just as quickly as I could by attending Pensacola Christian College when I was 16 years old.

​

Upon college graduation, I had the opportunity to travel as a PCC college rep which afforded me some wonderful experiences as I travelled around the United States visiting churches and Christian schools

​

I met my wife while I was a senior at Pensacola Christian College. We have been married for almost 30 years and have 4 wonderful children - again, not perfect but that is largely due to the fact that they did not have perfect parents!

We also have one child that is already in Heaven, Logan Dale Campbell, who died in his sleep when he was 10 weeks old.

​

I have served in only two different ministries since leaving Pensacola. I first served as the youth and music pastor at an independent Baptist church in Savannah, Georgia.

​

Since 2000, my wife and I have ministered at South Charlotte Baptist Church in Pineville, GA. From 2000 to 2013, I served as the youth and music pastor. Since 2013 I have served as the senior pastor.

My life's verse is Romans 8:28:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
