Calls to Action for the Family

Today, we had the pleasure of having Evangelist Byron Foxx minister to us here at South Charlotte Baptist Church. Bro. Foxx has been a friend to me and this ministry for over 20 years and he has been a blessing in many, many ways!

This morning, in his message, Bro. Foxx gave the following list of 15 "Calls to Action." I share them here in the hopes that you may be encouraged to implement them in your family.

1. Attend Church together.

2. Read the Bible & pray together.

3. Find times to serve the Lord together.

4. (For husbands and wives) Work at keeping the communication flowing.

5. (For husbands and wives) Go on a date.

6. (For husbands and wives) Never yell inside your home. (I would change this to, "Never yell. Period.")

7. Be fruitful stewards of all of God's blessings.

8. Get a budget. (And stay on it.)

9. Save so that you can go on a vacation.

10. Resolve differences quickly.

11. Forget what has been forgiven.

Even if you can't incorporate all of these, I would challenge you to take one and focus on implementing it in the life of your family.
