Calls to Action for the Family
Today, we had the pleasure of having Evangelist Byron Foxx minister to us here at South Charlotte Baptist Church. Bro. Foxx has been a friend to me and this ministry for over 20 years and he has been a blessing in many, many ways!
This morning, in his message, Bro. Foxx gave the following list of 15 "Calls to Action." I share them here in the hopes that you may be encouraged to implement them in your family.
Attend Church together.
Read the Bible & pray together.
Find times to serve the Lord together.
(For husbands and wives) Work at keeping the communication flowing.
(For husbands and wives) Go on a date.
(For husbands and wives) Never yell inside your home. (I would change this to, "Never yell. Period.")
Be fruitful stewards of all of God's blessings.
Get a budget. (And stay on it.)
Save so that you can go on a vacation.
Resolve differences quickly.
Forget what has been forgiven.
Even if you can't incorporate all of these, I would challenge you to take one and focus on implementing it in the life of your family.
